Today’s kitchens tend to serve more than one purpose. Together with being a functional area for cooking, cooling and cleaning, it is more often than not part of a larger kitchen diner or an open plan entertaining space. We are often asked to incorporate a section or an area for wine storage within the overall kitchen layout and we can present various choices for you to consider from bespoke wine shelves and wine racks to wine coolers, wine fridges and fully integrated wine climate cabinets. We feature a number of wine storage solutions at our Winchester showroom which we can demonstrate to you when you visit. These range from concealed wine shelving behind a cabinetry door to our unique 360° revolving wine rack, with bottles on one side and glasses on the other. Designed by Darren Taylor, it makes use of a small space within your bespoke cabinetry to brilliant effect.
If you wish to preserve a collection of fine wine at its correct ambient temperature then we can demonstrate wine fridges and wine climate cabinets from two recommended appliance brands that truly specialise in the subject: Liebherr and Gaggenau.
At our Winchester showroom we feature an integrated undercounter model by Liebherr, ideally installed within a kitchen island, and the tall wine climate cabinet on display from Gaggenau comprises part of a full cooling wall of side-by-side refrigeration appliances from the luxury brand, but can also be installed separately within bespoke or Intuo cabinetry. With three separate climate-controlled compartments for storing Champagne, white and red wines at different temperatures, this is the perfect option for a wine connoisseur.
Within the worktop of the circular kitchen island as you enter our Winchester showroom is the Kaelo, which is designed for keeping a single bottle of chilled wine or Champagne perfectly chilled and accessible for drinking. This integrated worktop wine cooler also comes with controllable coloured lighting that reflects on the neck of the bottle for when you are having a social occasion or when you just want some colour in your kitchen.
