Utility Rooms

We have designed numerous utility rooms for our clients in Hampshire and beyond.  Ideally located in a room next to, or near your kitchen, a larger utility room can also be created by borrowing space from a garage.

A utility room is the most functional room in your home, but it can still be beautifully designed to suit your needs. A utility room should house your laundry appliances, with a cupboard for the iron and ironing board. It can also include a hanging space for airing shirts before ironing. Incorporating further cupboards for the vacuum cleaner and cleaning items for the home, it can also be an overflow area from the kitchen for storage of bulk purchases such as dry pet foods. We have even created a special area for the dog to sleep in a utility room.

There should always be a sink and tap in a utility room to act as a ‘dirty sink’ for cleaning sports kit, paint brushes and muddy items. We recommend having a large Belfast sink and a sturdy twin tap for these purposes.

With our handmade and handpainted Signature Bespoke Shaker utility rooms, we can also add wine racks, open shelving and storage baskets. Tall cabinetry can be designed with internal shelving and drawers to accommodate less often used items, with door racks for bottles and spices.

Tell us about your requirements, and we will design the perfect utility room for you. Please get in touch and we will provide you with a quote.
