As part of a whole house renovation, Searle & Taylor was briefed to design a contemporary kitchen in a 20th Century family house in Hampshire with a Miami Beach theme throughout. The kitchen was in a large room with lots of natural light and was designed with a bespoke splashback to bring the colour themes together.
The client requested a functional L-shape kitchen together with an island. It was designed using furniture by Austrian brand, Intuo with cabinetry and pull-out drawers in Sky Blue and Bright Orange colourways, all with gloss finish. One end of the island is used for food preparation and includes an integrated Silestone sink and Quooker Boling Water tap. The other end of the island’s Silestone worktop includes an extended overhang with seating beneath for informal The island also incorporates a Kaelo iceless ice bucket to keep wine and Champagne perfectly chilled. All other cooking, cooling and dishwashing appliances are by Gaggenau.
