Curved Kitchens

Searle & Taylor is one of very few kitchen companies in Hampshire that can design and make curved cabinetry or circular furniture and this comprises part of our Signature Bespoke offer. With 30 years of expertise, we specialise in this type of design and we feature a circular kitchen island at the entrance of our Winchester showroom that included a cleverly concealed pop-up spice rack that rises from the worktop, with a pop-up TV on the reverse.

If your kitchen space is going to include a run of cabinetry with sharp corners, then we will recommend the inclusion of curved corner cabinets and end units, together with curved worktops, to both soften the space and to safely eliminate the sharp edges.

We suggest including curved cupboards with double doors, whether these are a floor to ceiling larder or alternatively, overhead and undercounter cabinets. With the latter, we will also suggest the inclusion of a Le Mans pull out tray system to store pots and pans.

If you have a linear kitchen island, we can include circular cabinetry at either end, including a curved breakfast bar or a circular table on a ¾ tapered leg. This adds a stunning contrast and with bar stool seating beneath it becomes a social hub. We also make decorative circular pieces including circular tables with onyx centres that can be lit up at night to beautiful effect. We have one in our showroom that can be demonstrated to you.
