Home Offices

At Searle & Taylor, we design homes offices and studies. These can be in spare rooms, or as part of your kitchen layout. A stylish home office is a place where all the administration for your home can be neatly stored and filed, and it can also be a place to work from home, as many more of us do so nowadays.

Even before many of us were forced to work from home during the Pandemic, we were commissioned to create a fully operational workstation as part of a run of kitchen cabinetry for a client who is a senior professional and who works flexibly both in their workplace and also at home. 

Our solution to the brief was to conceal the home office behind pocket doors when not in use. When the office is required the bi-fold doors fold fully into side recesses to reveal a desk with open shelving, drawers for pens and paper clips and further drawers that open as filing cabinets. 

We have also designed  home offices that are for more than one person to work in at the same time. Making use of all the space in the room, our bespoke cabinetry fits the space exactly.
