Even before many of us were made to work from home, we were commissioned to create a fully operational workstation as part of a run of kitchen cabinetry for a client who is a senior professional and who works flexibly both in their workplace and also at home. Our solution to the brief was to conceal the home office behind pocket doors when not in use. When the office is required the bi-fold doors fold fully into side recesses to reveal a desk with open shelving, drawers for pens and paper clips and further drawers that open as filing cabinets.
